Background Info

I started practicing Complementary Therapy in 1996

Reflexology was my first therapy, I experienced a taster treatment at a health show and found it to be one of the most relaxing and rejuvenating treatments I had experienced, so that gave me the impetus to train to be a practitioner, which I did under the tutelage of Renee Tanner of the International Federation of Reflexologists.

Whilst consulting with patients I soon realised that diet and supplements were important to people’s health, so knew that I would need some training in this in order to offer good advice. So I studied with Dianne Mills from ION, for a diploma (ITEC) in Nutrition Advice.

Next on my list was massage, something that came very natural to me, I first gained an ITEC qualification in what was Swedish /Holistic massage, and then added to this,  with a diploma in Sports Massage, which now makes up the majority of the massage I seem  to be doing at the moment.

In 2003 I decided that I would embark on what would be my most challenging course to date and that was a Bsc (hons) degree in Acupuncture, which I am happy to say I  completed in 2006. To me, Acupuncture and the Chinese medical theory that lies behind it, is the most fascinating, and one might say, thorough systems of helping to heal the body, it has been  around for over 2500 years.

With these therapies at my disposal, I hope to have the answer to most peoples health concerns, I am  very happy to answer any queries you may have, and if you wish to discuss your particular illness or needs, to see if I can help you then please contact me.

It would be a pleasure to help facilitate better health for you.

Truth, Compassion, Forbearance
